The perfect choice for a group or larger family. Located within the heart of the complex and the largest of our barns. The Rookery offers a spacious open plan sitting room with stunning views over the communal lawns and beyond to the beautiful woods and countryside.
The house is split level with the entrance to the open-plan living area and master bedroom on the ground level with a further two bedrooms downstairs.
Wooladon Estate is nestled on the outskirts of the village of Lifton and our very own award-winning Strawberry Fields Farm Shop is just short walk away. Great for stocking up on homegrown produce and delicious treats from our bakery, deli and butchers.
The Rookery was wonderful even better than what we expected, and the welcome pack was a wonderful surprise. All rooms were immaculate, and everything we would need was provided. The staff ware all extremely helpful especially as we had to change our dates. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to all our friends.
The Rookery was an amazing place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed half-term with the children. The two downstairs bedrooms with en-suites made the stay extra special as I didn't have to look at the mess my children make, which is always a bonus! The accommodation was clean and well laid out which meant it was comfortable and homely. There were some games and DVD's accessible and also the kitchen was well equipped for all meals. Strawberry fields was a lovely visit, especially as we arrived for pumpkin fest and the kids were able to go and pick their own pumpkins from the field. They loved doing this and the meal after in the restaurant was also very tasty.
The Rookery is.a very spacious, well equipped and comfortable cottage to stay in. An en-suite to every bedroom is amazing and hot water in abundance. With Strawberry Field's farm shop within walking distance makes Self Catering so much easier. The walks around the Wooladon Estate were lovely. Would recommend a stay there and will be staying again at some point.
