A superbly presented barn conversion on one level. The entry is via a covered porch with space for footwear and hanging space for coats. This leads to a hallway with double doors leading to an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. Leading off the living area are two large family bedrooms each with a double and single bed, both have an en-suite shower room and WC.
Wooladon Estate is nestled on the outskirts of the village of Lifton and our very own award-winning Strawberry Fields Farm Shop is just short walk away. Great for stocking up on homegrown produce and delicious treats from our bakery, deli and butchers.
Recently we have booked the Pheasant Barn for our Christmas break and I intend to do again for 2024. My wife has had a stroke and requires plenty of space to move around in which is easily accomplished in the accommodation. That and the level access and all the accommodation being on one level make this ideal.
My mum and my partners mum and dad stayed in Pheasant Barn and had a lovely stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything you would need. It is perfectly located to explore all areas of Devon and Cornwall. The farm shop is amazing and with the lovely walks around the estate as well you could easily stay in the cottage the entire time. Would love to return.
This is the 3rd year running that we've spent Christmas in the Pheasant Barn. We love it so much. It's warm and comfortable and we can be completely safe and secure in these uncertain times. Our young springer enjoyed the freedom of the dog walks as did I. Hopefully we will soon be booking for next Christmas as we love it so much.
