Entry is up a small flight of outside stairs leading to a covered porch which opens into a spacious open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area. Leading off from the living area are the two double bedrooms. The entire accommodation is on one level and enjoys stunning views over the woodland and Devon countryside.
We really enjoyed our stay in Gatherley View. The property was well designed and provided all we needed. It was clean, comfortable and warm. The views were fantastic too. Lovely to have had milk, bread and scones there on arrival and we were greeted by the head housekeeper, which added a nice personal touch. The site was great, with lots of areas to walk the dog and was lovely and quiet. We’d definitely stay again.
Great place to have a winter break. The accommodation was excellent and well placed for exploring the North Devon Coast and Dartmoor. In addition the Strawberry Fields Farm shop and cafe is just a mile away and provides first class food to eat in at the restaurant and cafe or to take away from the market.
